Jaam Tower (formerly known as Mellat Bank Tower) is located on a land of 4600 square meters and 32 floors in Tehran (Shariati Street), It is one of the most modern construction projects built by the well-known architect, Reza Daneshmir.
This structure stands out among the neighboring buildings due to its high height, a special type of architecture that is a combination of horizontal and vertical volumes in a rotating manner, and creative lighting. The purpose of the construction of the Jaam Tower was to create a Mega Structure which, according to the other buildings of the surrounding streets, had the opportunity to establish a new urban identity to its surroundings.
in fact, it was supposed to be a simple and typical office cube tower. but the differentiation from other typical cube towers is that it is divided into listener repeater modules with 6.7-meter openings, which is suitable for providing various office-commercial spaces as well as the complex's parking lot. In this modern design, the arrangement of these modules is also such that they provide the use of the view of the nearby park at a low height.
The award-winning lighting design of the Jaam Tower was implemented by the RGE lighting design company. Facade lighting design is one of the main pillars of architecture and represents the identity of a building at night, in other words, architecture and lighting are closely related in introducing a structure and moving parallel to each other.
Hasan Bahadori (Lighting designer) explains this project: The idea of the Facade Lighting Design of Jaam Tower was inspired by flickering candles, which from a distance look like a Wide movement of many light points that covered the entire shell of the tower.
